Our client is seeking a talented Business Analyst/Data Analyst for an immediate opportunity!

The daily duties will include working with various teams to gather requirements and analyze data from different sources.  The candidate will be required to understand business insights, analytics and predictive modeling to provide reports to various departments.  The reporting will allow each group to have a clear understanding of data that is gathered from customers and clients to assist with future product releases, marketing campaigns and advertising.  In addition, the business analysis and data analytics will ensure the budgets are allocated for all departments, based on customer feedback and surveys.  This position will be responsible for:

• Respond to emails, calls, in-person inquiries and requests
• Schedule meetings with agenda/topics and identify appropriate required attendees
• Attend meetings, capture/publish notes/action items/next steps, and follow up
• Interview SMEs, document findings/requirements, analyze, and make recommendations
• Analyze data, trends and business insights for current and future projects
• Discuss any system or project related issues with IT and/or vendors, propose and/or approve solutions
• Coordinate/review UAT test plans, use cases, and test scripts as needed
• Perform UAT as needed
   

Requirements:
 

• Business Analyst/Data Analyst Experience
• Experience working across multiple functional areas
• Experience with Business Insights and Data Modeling
• Background with Data Analysis software, including reporting tools
• Database and SQL knowledge is preferred
• Jira is a plus
• Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s degree (business or IT) preferred; BA or BSA certificate program is acceptable
